Following the brand’s philosophy JUDARI introduce another innovative design – striking foulard boots. Inspiration for this model came from traditional Pavloposad woolen shawls that like Valenki are one of the most recognizable accessories of the Russian national costume. Pavloposad shawls are decorated with colourful printed ornamemnts and first appeared in the city of Pavlovskiy Pasad, near Moscow, as early as the 1860-80. These shawls were traditional bridal gift kept for life and then passed on as family heirlooms, remained fashionable for over two centuries. Pavloposad shawls are still exclusively handmade only in Russia using ancient technology, it takes around three months to create one. By using these shawls as a basis for their foulard boots and sneakers JUDARI created unique footwear that can be transformed and worn in a variety of ways.
